Established to meet the growing local and global demand for medical laboratory professionals, the College of Medical Laboratory Science was accredited by CHED on May 16, 2016. Its four-year Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science Program combines academic study with clinical training, including a one-year internship in accredited hospitals across CALABARZON and Metro Manila. In 2018, it ranked second nationwide with a 98.68% licensure exam passing rate, earning recognition from the Professional Regulation Commission. The college continues to advance through curriculum updates, expanded hospital affiliations, faculty development, facility upgrades, and research collaborations.

ABOUT US
Objectives
At the end of the program, the graduates of Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science shall have:
- developed the knowledge, skills, and professional attitude in the performance of clinical laboratory procedures needed to help the physician in the proper diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and prevention of diseases;
- developed critical thinking skills in Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science;
- appreciated the need for research and community-related activities;
- participated in activities related to promoting the profession and actively engages in lifelong learning activities; and
- developed collaborative and leadership qualities.
The establishment of the
College of Medical Laboratory Science was prompted by the rising demand for medical laboratory professionals locally and abroad, recognizing the need for comprehensive clinical assessment. Accredited by CHED on May 16, 2016, the four-year program includes academic and clinical training, culminating in a one-year internship in accredited hospitals across CALABARZON and Metro Manila. In 2018, the college achieved a 98.68% passing rate in the Medical Technology licensure examination, ranking as the second top-performing school nationwide and earning recognition from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Continuously enhancing its program, the college updates its curriculum, expands hospital affiliations, supports faculty development, upgrades facilities, and fosters research partnerships with local and international institutions.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Institute offers a four-year outcomes-based curriculum for the Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science, equipping students with fundamental knowledge in the field.
The program trains students to be globally competent in the performance of basic and advanced laboratory test procedures and analyses which aids in the screening, diagnosis, prevention and treatment, and maintenance of optimum health. The program also provides profound training in scientific research, instrumentations, and community-related activities.
It consists of general education courses and professional courses like Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology and Clinical Parasitology, Clinical Microscopy, Hematology, Serology and Immunology, Immunohematology (Blood Banking), Histopathology, and Molecular Biology and Diagnostics.
A comprehensive hospital internship program for one year in accredited training laboratories will be offered during the fourth-year level with weekly seminar updates for special topics and a Medical Technology assessment program.
